Review:
Mark was able to help us very quickly and efficiently. Just the day prior I called to ask about the trade in value of my vehicle and a couple of vehicles we were interested in. The next day he showed us a vehicle I hadn't even seen and found it to be perfect for our needs and we left with it the same day. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend this dealership and Consultant to anyone.

Review:
I was very impressed with the amount of used Honda Pilot's in the Hendrick's entire inventory. When I found a Pilot I liked, they offered to ship it at no charge to Hendrick Honda in Hickory. Driving all the way from Raleigh, it was nice that the dealership had the car detailed, checked out mechanically and ready to drive when I arrived. The salesman, Mark Buchanan, was very friendly, intelligent about the car and efficient with my time. I applaud how the sales management team, headed by Derrick Powell, worked to make the paperwork and financing as painless for me as possible. All in all I would buy and recommend Hendrick Honda of Hickory to my friends and family for their next Honda purchase.

This is my third purchase of a new Honda from Honda Cars of Hickory. All three of my experiences were excellent. However the salesman I worked with this time was by far the best. He made me happy I bought another Honda from Honda Cars of Hickory. Didn't you use the slogan Happy Honda at one time? Regardless I am happy.

We bought TWO cars from James Conley in the past two weeks. He was there for us with any questions we had and offered any and all information about the cars we were looking at. He pulled the car faxes out without us asking on the vehicles we liked, to show us all possible information about the cars which is very important to know these days. Each was positive information that made us feel more comfortable on buying. He explained all the details page for page. Other dealers we went to stayed away from that conversation and changed the subject right away. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the cars. Grace Lawrence was awesome to deal with. She is super friendly and is out there to take care of you and to look for the best deal for you. I have dealt with Grace in the past and I will continue to go to her for all our car purchases in the future. I have total trust in Grace that she would do the best for us and she did. I love my 2006 Honda Accord and my son Jeremy loves his Pacifa and we want to thank you James Conley and Grace Lawrence for working with us on our car purchases. If you want honest and upfront people, go see these two. You'll be glad you did.

I came into Hendrick Honda Hickory looking to buy a used Accord, but nothing quite fit. Jay was very patient he continued to look for cars he thought I may be interested in, coming in on his day off hoping he had found a car for me. After looking around the lot I fell in love with a black 2012 Civic EX. I didn't think it was even possible to get a deal worked out with a price and payment I was comfortable with, but Jay was determined (more so than myself) that I was going home in that car. He goes against all car salemen stereotypes. He made the car buying experience (something I was very afraid of) unstressful. It was a pleasure working with him, although I felt he was working for me. I would recommend Hendrick Honda Hickory and Jay Brown to everyone.

My wife and I were looking for a new car, and had decided on the Honda Pilot. We had contacted multiple dealers shopping for price. We had almost made our decision to purchase from a dealer in South Carolina, but in a last attempt to try and get a better price, contacted Hendrick Honda Hickory via email late on a Friday evening. We received a reply from Mark Buchanan expressing a desire to "earn" our business. I didn't expect to get a reply until Monday, but as it turned out, we were able to work out the deal through out the weekend, and I actually committed to buy on Monday. Buying a new vehicle is such a stressful event, but if I had to use one word to describe the process of buying a car from Hendrick Honda Hickory , I would have to say STRESSLESS. The whole process was great, negotiating the price with Mark and Derrick, agreeing to purchase, finalizing the financing with Grace, and having the Pilot delivered to me in Asheville. I would highly recommend Hendrick Honda Hickory , if nothing else, to give them a chance to "earn" your business....I bet they will.

We had been looking for a Honda Odyssey that was a little bit older with as few miles as possible. We came across Patrick Brooks at Hendrick Honda Hickory , we couldnt have found a more determined person to find exactly what we wanted. Patrick found us an 06 model with 21000 miles for a very good price, in a matter of 24 hrs, we are extremely happy with the entire process. Ask for Patrick when you go there.

I am very pleased with my overall experience with Hendrick Honda Hickory , and with my salesperson, Deanna Heck. I have never purchased a car on my own and I have recently became a single mother so this was a new experience for me. I had shopped around for awhile before coming to this dealership and was very frustrated because I felt as if the other sales people were very pushy and told me what I "needed" instead of trying to help me find what I wanted. I stopped by late one night to look over the lot so that I would not be smothered by pushy salespeople. I found a car I thought I was interested in and called the next day. Fortunately I was put through to Deanna, and after weeks of trying to find the type vehicle I liked and many test drives later, I fell in love with the honda pilot, but the color wasn't the one I wanted. We searched other honda dealerships and found one and she had one shipped in for me and I have been totally pleased. I had never thought much about warranties but this one had very low miles and I also have the security of knowing me and my children are taken care of in this vehicle. I purchased the car about 3 weeks ago and had the first experience with service today with something that I wasn't completely satisfied with cosmetically, and unlike most dealerships who would have said that it wasn't their problem, I left in my honda pilot very satisfied. I plan on this vehicle lasting many years but I would recommend Deanna and Hendrick Honda Hickory to anyone. Thanks Deanna for a job well done.

Mark Buchanan was extremely helpful while we were trying to locate a used vehicle that had to fit very specific needs. We were shopping for a relatively inexpensive used car, yet Mark worked relentlessly and was very patient with us as our goals changed a bit while we adjusted our financial plans during the searching process. I will add, this process lasted several weeks due to our needs and additionally this all occurred at a time when Mark was experiencing a very busy and successful period in sales. Despite all this, we were treated as if we were the top priority customer at all times. Mark's work ethic and customer service made this automobile buying experience the best we have ever experienced in over 25 years, and we plan to return when we are ready to purchase again.

Because I was injured in a car accident and was forced by physical limitations to shop online, this dealership's website was outstanding and gave me all of the critical information on my search for a certified Honda Accord. Next, my phone call to the dealership was answered by a friendly, professional receptionist who referred me to James Conley, salesman. He responded to my questions about the 2008 Certified Honda and confirmed that he would wait for me -- I had to drive 1 1/2 hours to test drive the vehicle. I arrived at 8:15pm. The price had been reduced, the picture on the internet was beautiful and worth the drive. James met me with an easy smile and walked me to this Belize Pearl Blue sensational 2008 Honda Accord V-6 loaded with a navigation system; leather interior; awesome sound system; HandsFreeLink phone; Maintenance Minder; Zagat restaurant guide; heated driver seat; lumbar support; power seat and windows; a DVD to guide me through all of the necessary set up. Being a previous owner of two Honda Accords, 1990 and 1998, I was still surprised and gratified by the smooth ride, comfort, and the amazing technology. Keep in mind I had done my homework by checking the CarFax and VIN number and price of this vehicle within a 250 mile radius. Everything was fact based. By 9:30pm I had driven the car and we began the paperwork. Exhausted, I asked if we could finish the paperwork the following morning. James asked the receptionist to call a nearby hotel, make my reservation and then drove ahead to make sure I got there safely. The following morning I returned to the dealership in my rental car and finished the paperwork. The burden of returning my rental car and getting my "new" car home began to overwhelm me. However, James made arrangements to drive my "new" car to my home the following day in order to alleviate any further anxieties from my mind. I drove the 1 1/2 hour back to Indian Trail a very satisfied customer. The next morning James drove my "new" car into my driveway. Now that's service above and beyond any expectation. I highly recommend Hendrick Honda Hickory !

Review:
I took my 2008 Honda Fit into the dealership to have (2) recalls taken care of. I was greeted very quick by Mark Sutton, with a smile on his face. Mark took my info and gave me a loaner until the car was repaired. Within an hour Mark was calling me to let me know my car was ready. AWESOME! We were very tired from our drive from Chattanooga to the dealership. It was worth it because of the efficient work given by this dealership.
The only problem I have is my extended warranty can only be done 300 miles away from where I live now.I think if you buy the warranty from a Honda dealership it should be taken care of at any Honda dealership.

Me and my mother were very much pleased with honda of hickory. We got a better price than any other dealers for what she wanted and the sales staff were great and very knowledgeable on the CR-V and all the options.Mark Buchanan who we dealth with in sales was great and the no pressure atmosphere we experencied thur out the whole sales process was very simply something that doesn't exist at most dealerships.
Thank You again for your work on getting my mother what she wanted and a whole lot more,because the money she saved she got top of the line. We would 100% recomendend honda of hickory and Mark Buchanan to anyone looking for a new or used car!

I really needed a car. I had been to tons of car dealerships. Everytime I got the same thing you need tons of money down or someone to sign with you. I call and Rick took my info and said he would call me back. I just knew he would see my credit and never call me back. Not only did he call me back but he had great news he could get me in a NEW Civic...
So that weekend I had a friend drive me 5 hours to the dealership. Everyone there made me feel like I was part of the family. When Rick left to get something Derrick I think he is the Store Manager came by to thank me for coming in and asked he could do anything to help.
When I was getting ready to sign papers Rick went to get my NEW CIVIC cleaned up and made sure it had a full tank of gas. Brian Mesick another manager came by and asked how everything was going.
Everyone was so nice and helpful at Hendrick Honda Hickory . I have already told all of my friends and family to go and ask for Rick.

I have had on and off again dealings with this dealership for almost 7 years and they always treat me with respect and honestly. This trip was for a new car and throughout the whole process I felt comfortable with everyone there. Everyone makes you feel like family, not just a cash cow. They do there best to give you the best deal and just as important they make sure you feel good about the whole experience. If you ever think about a new car, make sure you put this dealership on the "must visit" list. Even if you are not in the market for a new Honda, they have a great selection of good used vehicles.

My family has always bought Nissans. My son is going off to college and said he wanted to check out the Honda Pilot. I work with ASU Athletics department and was told to call Hendrick Honda Hickory and ask for Rick McClure. I thought this was a little funny because we have a Honda dealership here in Boone. But we are very glad we did call. Coach Chris Moore told me to call and ask for Rick the Internet Sales Manager. Coach Moore said he is the one who takes care of all of the ASU Football coaches and families.
Rick did everything we asked and more. With my work it is very hard to get away from the office. Rick did everything over the phone and the internet. When it came down to Rates and the numbers, Derrick Powell the New Car Sales Manager call and we went over the them. I got a better deal then I thought I would ever get...
Then Rick offered to bring the Pilot to my home or work. We have never bought a Honda before and this was so well handled that we will be back to Hendrick Honda Hickory to buy from Rick and Derrick the next time...

I just want to let you know of the great service I received on Monday, 1/24, from both Mark Sutton and his service technician. I had just arrived in Hickory on Sunday after driving down from Connecticut to visit family knowing that my Maintenance Minder indicated that I needed an oil change. I brought my Odyssey in early Monday morning hoping that I could get this taken care of then, knowing that Monday mornings usually are busy with appointments. I was gladly surprised to hear Mark say that it appeared they could get the car in and take care of the oil change. Sure enough, it seemed that within 30 minutes the job was completed and my car was ready to go. I sure do appreciate the courtesy and speediness with which your dealership showed me.

I had a mysterious "klunk" in the front end of my Acura. It took several trips to your place, but your service folks, lead by Mark Sutton, were very patient and diligent in trying to identify the source. I think they have cured the cause.
